Privacy policy
In short: this website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. To deliver our outbound service we process business-contact details (names, work emails, job roles) taken from public sources and data providers. Every email we send has an opt-out, and we honour every removal request.
1.Who we are
Kenlead (“we”, “us”) is a done-for-you B2B outbound email service run by Sonu Krishnan as a sole proprietor in Bengaluru, India. For the purposes of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) we are the Data Fiduciary, and under the EU and UK GDPR we are the controller, for the personal data described in this policy. 2.Who this policy covers
- Website visitors to kenlead.com.
- Prospects and clients who contact us, request a free sample or book a call.
- Business contacts we email on behalf of our clients as part of the outbound service.
3.This website
kenlead.com is a static site. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking scripts and has no advertising pixels. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type and request time) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads.
Our calls to action open your own email app (mailto links). We will soon add a Tally form for sample requests and Cal.com for booking calls. If you use them, the details you enter (such as name, work email, company and meeting time) are processed by those providers on our behalf.
4.Data we collect and why
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, work email, company, website and message you send us | Replying, preparing a free sample, scheduling calls | Your consent / steps before a contract |
| Client contact and billing details | Delivering the service, invoicing, records | Contract; legal obligation |
| Business-contact data of prospects: name, work email, job title, company, public profile URL, company details | Researching target accounts and sending relevant B2B emails for our clients | Legitimate interests (GDPR / UK GDPR); see section 6 for India |
| Email engagement: replies, bounces, opt-outs | Handling replies, keeping suppression lists, deliverability | Legitimate interests; legal obligation to honour opt-outs |
We do not collect sensitive personal data, and we do not sell personal data.
5.Business-contact data and outbound email
We gather professional contact details from publicly available sources (such as company websites and professional profiles) and from B2B data providers such as Apollo and Prospeo. We use them only to contact people in their professional role about offers relevant to their business. We verify email addresses before sending and keep volumes low.
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, we rely on legitimate interests and have weighed them against the rights of the people we contact. Under the DPDP Act, we process personal data only for lawful purposes, keep it to what is needed, and act on withdrawal or erasure requests promptly. If you are in the UK or EU and receive an email from us, you can object at any time and we will stop.
Every email includes a clear way to opt out (a reply or unsubscribe line), a truthful subject line, and the sender’s identity and postal address, in line with the US CAN-SPAM Act. We act on opt-outs within 10 business days, usually much sooner. Once you opt out, your address goes on a suppression list so you are not contacted again, for any client.
6.Who we share data with
We use these service providers (processors) to run Kenlead:
- Google Workspace: email and document storage
- Smartlead: sending email sequences and handling replies
- Cloudflare: website hosting, DNS and security
- Data providers such as Apollo and Prospeo: finding and verifying business contacts
- Tally (forms) and Cal.com (booking), once added to the site
Interested replies from prospects are forwarded to the client the campaign runs for. We may also disclose data where the law requires it. We do not sell or rent personal data.
7.International transfers
We are based in India, and several of our providers are in the United States or elsewhere. Where data about people in the UK or EU is transferred, we rely on our providers’ safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not transfer data to any country restricted by the Government of India under the DPDP Act.
8.How long we keep data
- Prospect contact data: for as long as the client campaign runs, and up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Suppression list (opt-outs): kept indefinitely, minimal data only, so we never email you again.
- Client and billing records: as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.
- Enquiries that do not become clients: up to 12 months.
9.Your rights
Depending on where you are, you can ask to access, correct, update or erase your data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or receive a copy of your data. Under the DPDP Act you can also seek grievance redressal and nominate another person to exercise your rights. To make a request, email sonu@kenleadhq.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, your EU supervisory authority, or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
10.Security
We use reputable providers, two-factor authentication, limited access and verified sending domains. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will notify affected people and authorities of a breach where the law requires.
11.Children
Our service is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
12.Changes and contact
We may update this policy, and will change the date above when we do. Grievance officer and contact: Sonu Krishnan, sonu@kenleadhq.com.
